Or feelings that are complicated and take effort to understand

I am already anxious about moving on and graduating. I am excited, but also terrified. I’ll miss this place, the apartment (even if it is a weird shade of gross yellow..), hanging out with Shauna and the women at the entomology lab, and Harvest Moon sandwiches.

Sounds like someone has a case of “nice guy” syndrome :P
ugh…. gross…
misogynists masquerading as “nice guys”
nope and nope
Sooooo… is the message the Nice Guy™ photoshop wizard is trying to convey that “Good Guys” are an alien species that feels entitled to invade the women’s space for its own edification, while the “Asshole” is a companion species that offers a mutually beneficial relationship?
They may have accidentally had a moment of self-awareness.
So, in the first picture, the nice guy seal is a predator that is literally attempting to capture and eat the ‘women’.
The second picture appears to be a whale shark. Whale sharks are mainly filter feeders the consume plankton.
Unlike the seal, the whale shark is not an actual threat to the fish ‘women’. The fish actually benefit from their connection to it.
It is kinda funny how the maker of this photoset sends unintentional messages. Plus one for accidental moment of self awareness

This is really relevant today. I am finally taking some steps in the right direction and will soon be out of this hole I made for myself. I am actually very lucky that my professors have been supportive and concerned about me. Most departments don’t give two shits about their students, but mine heard that I was having a shitty time of it and staged an all out manhunt to find me and check in. At first it was embarrassing and an introvert’s nightmare but they have been very helpful.
I’m gona see the end of this. This weekend will be the first stress free weekend I’ve had in months.
